About the Role
The Human Resources Administrator will support the daily operations of the HR function across the wider Venues NSW network. This position suits an organised and proactive HR professional, or a recent graduate wanting to start and grow a career in a fast-moving environment.
Working alongside the HR team and other stakeholders, you will assist with administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate employee data and HR system records, and help deliver HR initiatives that improve the employee experience and support business goals.
Key Duties
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, internal employee changes, and exit processes.
- Draft employment contracts, letters, and other HR-related documents.
- Keep employee information accurate and up to date in HR and payroll systems.
- Support HR reporting, workforce data collection, and basic analytics.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Human Resources team.
- Contribute to HR projects, workflow improvements, and system upgrades.
- Protect the confidentiality and accuracy of employee information at all times.
About You
You are highly organised, attentive to detail, and motivated to build a career in Human Resources. You work well in a team setting, bring strong administrative capability, and take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality support.
Ideal Background
- Experience in HR administration, payroll administration, or general administrative support, or a recent qualification in Human Resources.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information.

Eligibility and Conditions
To be considered, applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. A National Police Clearance check will also be required.
