Role Overview
Mimak Services is hiring on behalf of a respected law firm in Toronto for a permanent, full-time Human Resource Administrative Assistant. In this position, you will support a team of five HR professionals and help keep day-to-day departmental operations organized, accurate, and efficient. The role suits someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with confidential material, and able to balance multiple priorities in a busy legal setting.
Key Duties
- Keep employee records and personnel files current and well organized.
- Arrange interviews, onboarding meetings, and internal calendar events.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails, then route them to the appropriate contact.
- Draft and circulate HR paperwork such as offer letters and employment agreements.
- Assist with both onboarding and exit processes.
- Gather information and perform research for HR initiatives and reports.
- Work with other teams to make sure HR procedures follow company policies.
- Manage sensitive information carefully and professionally.
- Maintain awareness of Ontario employment legislation and HR compliance obligations.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is intended for an experienced HR administrative professional who can work independently, communicate clearly, and maintain accuracy under pressure. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related discipline is required, along with extensive experience supporting HR functions.
