Role overview
Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking a Junior HSE Officer to support site safety, quality, health, and environmental activities in Riyadh. The role focuses on helping teams follow required standards, strengthening safety awareness, and keeping HSE systems, records, and reporting up to date.
Key responsibilities
- Help carry out compliance checks, risk assessments, job safety analyses, and HSE inspections.
- Assist with the rollout of Ma’aden MSHEM requirements, critical controls, and life-saving rules.
- Lead or support toolbox talks and encourage HSE awareness across the workforce.
- Keep HSE documentation organized, including daily reports, training logs, and other records.
- Draft weekly and monthly QHSE reports and related statistics.
- Support incident investigations, NCR follow-up, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
- Help coordinate HSE inductions, training sessions, and competency requirements.
- Take part in Ma’aden meetings, site inspections, audits, and management review activities.
- Support Journey Management implementation and verify compliance.
- Assist in maintaining an integrated management system aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Qualifications and experience
- A diploma along with an OSHA certificate is required.
- Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills, along with the ability to stay organized and set a good example, are important.
- The role calls for someone who can plan work, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
