Role overview
VALORE - Gestão de Gente is hiring an entry-level HR Support Officer for a part-time remote position in the United States. This role is designed for someone beginning a career in Human Resources and looking to build hands-on experience in day-to-day HR operations.
What you will do
You will assist with routine administrative HR work, help maintain accurate employee records, and prepare or organize HR-related documents. The position also involves supporting the rollout of HR policies and procedures across everyday operations.
In addition, you will contribute to updating and creating job descriptions, help with basic recruitment tasks such as posting openings and reviewing applications, and respond to common employee HR questions as a first point of contact. You will also support onboarding activities, track employee data, prepare reports, and work closely with the HR team to help maintain consistent and compliant practices.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Human Resources and HR management, along with an interest in growing a career in this field. Familiarity with HR policies and the ability to apply them in everyday situations is important.
You should be comfortable assisting with employee relations by handling routine concerns and escalating more complex matters when needed. Experience or academic exposure to writing job descriptions and managing accurate HR documentation will be useful.
Strong organization, careful attention to detail, and the ability to juggle several tasks in a remote setting are important. Good written and verbal communication skills, a service-focused attitude, and comfort using standard office and collaboration tools such as spreadsheets, word processors, and HR/HRIS systems are also expected.
Relevant studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline are preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
