HR Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)

Role Overview

An international organization in Frankfurt is looking for an experienced HR Payroll Specialist to join its human resources team. This role focuses on running payroll operations accurately, supporting employees and managers, and keeping payroll processes aligned with German legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full monthly payroll cycle from preparation through final processing.
• Respond to payroll questions from employees and managers in a timely manner.
• Keep employee master records current in the HR system.
• Prepare payroll summaries, reports, and related analyses.
• Work with external authorities, insurance providers, and other relevant partners.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with German tax, payroll, and social security rules.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in payroll workflows and SAP HR processes.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial training or an equivalent educational background.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll administration experience in Germany.
• Strong understanding of German payroll, tax, and social insurance legislation.
• Practical experience using SAP HR.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-focused approach to work.
• Fluency in German and good command of English.
