Role overview
This position is suited to an HR professional who is comfortable handling day-to-day HR operations while also contributing to employee relations and Works Council-related activities. The role plays an important part in keeping HR processes efficient, compliant, and aligned with business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Handle HR administration throughout the employee journey, from onboarding through offboarding.
- Assist with payroll administration and benefits-related processes.
- Serve as the main contact for employees and people managers on HR matters.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports.
- Coordinate HR subjects connected to the Works Council and support related discussions.
- Help ensure HR practices comply with labor law requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee recruitment activities for blue-collar roles end to end.
- Support succession planning activities.
- Work with public employment services to encourage local hiring and workforce integration.
- Develop and sustain working relationships with local authorities.
- Contribute to workforce planning in line with the company’s growth plans.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings 2 to 5 years of experience in HR operations, strong administrative capability, and solid organizational skills. Experience with Works Council or social relations is considered an advantage. The role also requires fluency in both German and English, along with a resilient mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
