Role overview

This opportunity is for an experienced HR professional to join a large manufacturing setup in the Bharuch–Jaghadia region of Gujarat. The role is centered on managing core human resources activities for a bulk chemicals business, with ownership of policies, people processes, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update HR policies, then ensure they are implemented effectively across the organization.
• Handle the complete recruitment and onboarding process, along with training and employee development support.
• Manage the full employee life cycle from hiring through exit and retirement-related processes.
• Oversee statutory payroll coordination, employee grievance handling, and administrative HR matters.
• Act as a company representative in HR-related interactions and internal coordination.
• Support end-to-end HR management in a manufacturing environment with a focus on operational efficiency.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant should hold an MSW or MBA in Human Resources and bring 14 years of practical HR experience. Strong exposure to manufacturing operations is essential, and experience in a chemical or bulk manufacturing environment will be especially relevant. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft is expected, along with solid computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good presentation ability is also important for this role.
