Job description

Role Overview

Coll-8 is in a significant growth stage and is looking for a practical, commercially minded HR Generalist to support a workforce of about 180 people. This 6-month fixed-term role is based in Dublin and includes site-based work with travel as needed. It is focused on bringing greater structure, consistency, and discipline to people operations in a busy, operational setting.

What You Will Do

  • Work with operational leaders to support growth plans, improve workforce planning, and reduce dependence on agency staff.
  • Create and deliver recruitment approaches that help attract and keep permanent employees.
  • Set up and reinforce consistent HR processes across the employee journey.
  • Guide and coach managers through employee relations matters so outcomes are fair, timely, and compliant.
  • Strengthen absence management practices and use data to help reduce absence levels.
  • Make sure HR policies and employment law are applied consistently in day-to-day practice.
  • Work alongside operational teams to support health and safety improvements and lower risk.
  • Review people metrics such as attrition, absence, and employee relations trends to spot problems and drive action.
  • Build line manager capability through practical coaching and support.
  • Contribute to projects that improve engagement, retention, and the overall colleague experience.

About You

The ideal person will be a resilient and confident HR professional who is comfortable working in fast-moving, operational environments. You should be able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and be ready to make an immediate impact.

Additional Information

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is site-based in Dublin and requires regular travel between sites. A full, clean driving licence is required.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Chance to make a visible impact during an important growth period.
  • Hands-on responsibility with influence on operational performance and workforce stability.
  • Exposure to a varied, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Supportive HR and leadership team with a focus on continuous improvement.
