Role overview
We are seeking a meticulous and well-organized HR Assistant to support a remote Human Resources team. This entry-level position is suited to someone who wants to build a career in HR while gaining hands-on exposure to core people operations in a professional, encouraging environment.
What you will do
- Support hiring activities by publishing job ads and arranging interview schedules.
- Help with new-joiner onboarding and orientation activities.
- Keep employee files and HR documentation accurate and up to date.
- Handle routine employee questions and provide general administrative support to the HR function.
- Draft and prepare employment letters, contracts, and other HR paperwork.
- Assist with coordination of training programs, meetings, and employee engagement efforts.
- Contribute to compliance with internal HR policies and procedures.
- Perform data entry, reporting, and record-keeping tasks for the HR team.
- Carry out other day-to-day administrative duties as required.
What we’re looking for
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Strong organizational ability and solid administrative skills.
- Clear written and spoken communication.
- Careful attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly and discreetly.
- Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good people skills and a service-oriented approach.
- Self-motivation and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while working remotely.
- Prior experience in administration, customer service, or HR is helpful but not mandatory.
