Role overview
We are seeking a careful, well-organized HR Assistant to support a remote Human Resources team on a full-time basis. This entry-level position is a strong fit for someone who wants to start a career in HR and build practical experience in a professional, encouraging environment.
What you will do
- Help manage recruitment tasks such as publishing vacancies and arranging interview schedules.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Keep employee files and HR documents accurate and up to date.
- Answer staff queries and provide day-to-day HR administrative help.
- Draft employment letters, contracts, and other HR paperwork.
- Support the coordination of training sessions, team meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Contribute to policy compliance and adherence to HR processes.
- Handle HR data entry, reporting, and record-keeping duties.
- Carry out additional administrative tasks for the HR function as required.
What we are looking for
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Strong ability to stay organized and manage administrative work efficiently.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Comfort handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong people skills and a service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and juggle several tasks in a remote setting.
- Prior experience in administration, customer service, or HR is helpful but not essential.
