Role overview

We are seeking a careful, well-organized HR Assistant to support a remote Human Resources team on a full-time basis. This entry-level position is a strong fit for someone who wants to start a career in HR and build practical experience in a professional, encouraging environment.

What you will do

  • Help manage recruitment tasks such as publishing vacancies and arranging interview schedules.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Keep employee files and HR documents accurate and up to date.
  • Answer staff queries and provide day-to-day HR administrative help.
  • Draft employment letters, contracts, and other HR paperwork.
  • Support the coordination of training sessions, team meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Contribute to policy compliance and adherence to HR processes.
  • Handle HR data entry, reporting, and record-keeping duties.
  • Carry out additional administrative tasks for the HR function as required.

What we are looking for

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • Strong ability to stay organized and manage administrative work efficiently.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Careful attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfort handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong people skills and a service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and juggle several tasks in a remote setting.
  • Prior experience in administration, customer service, or HR is helpful but not essential.
