Role Overview

This HR Assistant position is a contract role based in Andheri, Mumbai, within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role supports the HR team with day-to-day operations and administrative coordination across the employee lifecycle. It is designed to help the function run smoothly during busy periods and on special projects, with a strong focus on consistency, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full onboarding process for new hires, including PID setup and system access to help ensure a smooth first day.
  • Conduct first-day inductions such as office floor walks and document collection.
  • Work with the recruitment team to make the transition from offer acceptance to joining seamless.
  • Arrange introductory meetings between the new joiner, manager, buddy, and IT team.
  • Prepare standard HR reports covering headcount, attrition, attendance, and other key metrics.
  • Help build dashboards and presentations for HR leadership and assist with data entry tasks.
  • Coordinate POSH committee meetings every quarter, record minutes, and support awareness sessions.
  • Handle IC member appointment letters and ensure POSH annual returns are submitted by January 31.
  • Organize monthly PF Helpdesk sessions and assist with statutory filings and audits.
  • Keep the India Hub Page updated with employee announcements and policy changes.
  • Plan and run Long Service Award activities, including trophies, certificates, and gifts.
  • Maintain mail distribution lists and assist with wellness events and general HR administration.

Candidate Profile

The role suits someone with a Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or an equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area. A background of 6 months to 2 years in HR or administrative support is required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization, attention to detail, and solid time management.
