Tonal develops an advanced connected fitness platform designed to change how people train at home. Role Overview

The People Team at Tonal supports talent development, performance, organizational change, leader coaching, organizational design, and employee relations. In this HR Coordinator role, you will help deliver a positive employee experience and support team members so they can perform at their best. This position is a temporary 6-month contract based onsite in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run bi-monthly new hire orientation sessions in person at one of Tonal’s hub locations and distribute orientation materials and communications to new employees and relevant partners on time.
  • Manage the onboarding process end to end, including paperwork submission and processing, new employee file setup, orientation coordination, and support for training activities.
  • Work with HR Business Partners on everyday HR administration and help improve the employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as an initial HR contact for the global workforce by providing employee documents, answering general HR questions, and assisting with system troubleshooting.
  • Handle offboarding steps when needed, including notifying key stakeholders and completing the offboarding workflow.
  • Coordinate closely with Recruiting, Workplace, Legal, and IT teams to support the employee experience.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of HR systems and keep records accurate across platforms.
  • Spot opportunities to improve HR systems and processes proactively.
  • Review compliance items and data entry on a weekly basis in line with HR policies.
  • Ensure all required documentation is properly stored in employee files.

What We’re Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A naturally curious mindset with a desire to learn, simplify processes, and improve programs.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or another HRIS platform.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $78,000.
