Position overview
Del Monte Corporation is seeking an organized, proactive HR Administrative Assistant to support its Human Resources team. The role is centered on North America administrative support, including assistance with job descriptions and a broad range of HR-related administrative tasks. Success in this position requires a resourceful person who can stay organized and work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.
Administrative support
- Keep shared inboxes and calendars organized, answer routine questions, and direct requests to the appropriate HR contact.
- Arrange and coordinate team meetings, events, and employee engagement initiatives, including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and follow-up tracking.
- Draft, edit, and format internal communications, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Build PowerPoint decks that present information and key takeaways in a clear way.
- Use Excel to track data, perform basic analysis, and support reporting needs.
- Gather information from different sources and summarize the main points for leadership.
- Monitor action items and make sure important tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain well-organized files and records while protecting accuracy and confidentiality.
- Look for ways to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support coordination and communication across the business.
- Handle employee expense reports and reimbursements through internal systems such as ADP, Workday, Concur, and SAP.
- Confirm that expenses comply with company rules and guidelines.
General support
- Act as a contact point for employee questions related to expenses and administrative procedures.
- Support special projects and provide daily assistance to the team as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative or HR support, ideally in a corporate or regional environment.
- Strong writing and editing ability for creating polished professional documents.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills with close attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to manage confidential information carefully and professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior exposure to systems such as Concur, SAP, Workday, or ADP is an advantage.
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability is a plus.
