Role Overview
This is a part-time remote opportunity for an HR & Administration Specialist within an expert network setting. The position is based in Canada and requires a weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours. The role combines human resources operations, administrative coordination, and support for research-focused work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hiring coordination and employee onboarding activities.
- Handle payroll-related coordination and support benefits administration processes.
- Draft, assess, and improve HR policies to maintain compliance and consistent operations.
- Prepare clear documentation and practical guidance on HR standards and best practices.
- Work with internal stakeholders asynchronously on workforce planning and administrative projects.
- Use HR knowledge to contribute to AI-enabled research and enterprise initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, recruiting, or administrative leadership.
- Working knowledge of payroll workflows, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organization and careful attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, project-based environment.
