Housekeeping Attendant

About the Role

One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to support the upkeep of guest rooms and suites at a luxury resort known for highly personalized service and attention to detail. The position sits within a fast-growing global hospitality brand and contributes directly to delivering memorable guest experiences with warmth, precision, and care.

The role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and involves maintaining resort standards across room cleanliness, replenishment, safety, and guest satisfaction. Candidates should be prepared to work in a high-end hospitality environment where consistency, professionalism, and responsiveness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for every shift and maintain the resort’s grooming and presentation standards.
• Join the daily briefing led by the supervisor or manager for the assigned area.
• Learn and follow all resort procedures and service standards for daily housekeeping tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely and in line with hotel policy.
• Clean, restock, and prepare guest rooms according to the resort’s standards.
• Place and move the cleaning trolley safely in corridors to avoid creating hazards.
• Follow the property’s key control procedures at all times.
• Use housekeeping machinery and equipment correctly.
• Escalate faulty tools, room issues, and incidents to the supervisor and Engineering team.
• Process lost-and-found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Report issues related to in-room safes following resort policy.
• Notify the appropriate team about unusual guest behavior or suspicious activity.
• Know the guest room layout, corridors, and housekeeping storage areas thoroughly.
• Comply with all health and safety rules and procedures.
• Attend all required trainings and skill sessions.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the hotel.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of experience in an upscale luxury hospitality setting or a five-star hotel. Strong attention to detail, solid analytical ability, and the capacity to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines are important for success in this role. The resort is also looking for someone with strong communication skills in English and/or another language, along with the ability to motivate others and adapt to a demanding service environment.
