Role overview

Accel at Crystal Park in Oklahoma City, OK is hiring Housekeeping staff to support a long-term and rehabilitative care setting. Primary duties

  • Clean assigned spaces such as resident rooms, shared living areas, furniture, fixtures, vents, lavatories, and sinks according to schedule.
  • Perform floor care tasks including dust mopping, wet mopping, and spot mopping using the correct measured cleaning chemicals.
  • When needed, strip, seal, wax, and buff floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, remove embedded dirt, and shampoo or extract carpeting as required.
  • Clean windows by washing and drying them with properly mixed cleaning solutions.
  • Remove waste from containers, insert fresh liners, and place trash in the correct disposal areas.
  • Collect soiled linens and place them in the proper receptacles for laundering.
  • Replace linens and make residents’ beds as scheduled.
  • Notify a supervisor or the maintenance team about repair issues that need attention.

Safety and handling expectations

  • Use cleaning products correctly and follow Safety Data Sheet instructions.
  • Apply the right safety tools and equipment, identify potential hazards, and comply with the community’s safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Experience using floor-care equipment is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate respectfully and effectively with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and members of the public.
  • Reliable, regular, and predictable attendance is required.
