Role overview
Compass Group Ireland is looking for an experienced Hospitality Supervisor who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding food and first-class customer service. In this full-time onsite role, you will oversee catering and service activities across Compass Group UK&I operations for Compass Group Ireland, working 37.5 hours per week.
The position focuses on keeping kitchen and service counter operations running efficiently while helping create memorable food and hospitality experiences. Key responsibilities
- Review function sheets and use them to organise equipment, set-ups, and presentation displays.
- Work closely with kitchen teams across two buildings to make sure food and drink are prepared and delivered on time.
- Deliver items to meeting rooms with care, precision, and strong attention to presentation.
- Keep hospitality spaces tidy, fully stocked, and visually well presented.
- Use time well so service schedules and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
- Encourage a cooperative team culture across kitchen, floor, and PA teams.
- Support, coach, and train staff so high service standards and excellent customer care are maintained.
- Plan and organise work schedules to keep service delivery efficient.
- Handle customer questions and concerns quickly, professionally, and with a service mindset.
- Maintain strong client satisfaction through reliable quality and consistent service excellence.
Required experience and skills
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong ability to organise work and manage time effectively.
- Clear presentation and communication skills, with fluent English.
- Confidence in handling several tasks at once and staying effective under pressure.
- A positive team-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
