Job description
Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai supporting the day-to-day running of ESAW’s student accommodation. The role is focused on creating a welcoming, well-organized, and safe environment for residents and visitors, while delivering responsive service that contributes to a positive student living experience.
Key duties
- Greet students, guests, and other visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer questions and provide prompt, helpful support to residents and stakeholders.
- Assist with student move-in and move-out activities, including check-in and check-out coordination.
- Help maintain tidy, presentable common areas and ensure shared spaces are ready for use.
- Support food and beverage service during events or scheduled meal periods.
- Carry out basic administrative and coordination tasks as required.
- Record and escalate maintenance concerns to the relevant team members.
- Work with the wider staff to maintain standards related to safety, comfort, and service quality across the property.
Qualifications and working expectations
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities to communicate effectively with students, parents, partners, and colleagues.
- Background or exposure in hospitality and food & beverage support, especially in guest-focused settings.
- Understanding of food service practices, including presentation, preparation support, and hygienic handling.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dubai and adapt to rotating shifts, including weekends and evening hours when needed.
- Good organization and careful attention to detail for managing several tasks and keeping records in order.
- A professional, student-focused approach with sensitivity to wellbeing, safety, and cultural diversity.
- Prior experience in hospitality, student housing, or other customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages used by international students are beneficial.
