The hospital includes cottage and general wards and is backed by experienced doctors and trained nursing staff. Along with orthopedics and trauma care, the facility also offers urology and laparoscopy services for a wide spectrum of patient needs. Its mission is to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to the local community and nearby areas.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Kotputli for a Hospital Administrator. The selected professional will be responsible for managing everyday hospital functioning, coordinating between clinical and non-clinical teams, and ensuring smooth patient movement across admission, discharge, and bed allocation processes. The role also involves supervising support staff, enforcing hospital policies, and supporting compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The administrator will handle budgeting, purchasing, vendor coordination, and upkeep of medical and non-medical equipment in collaboration with internal teams. The position requires close partnership with medical leadership to strengthen service quality, improve use of resources, respond to patient feedback, and drive operational improvements. Regular updates to senior management and participation in planning for hospital expansion and service development are also part of the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong command over hospital operations and administration, including department coordination, workflow management, and support for quality and safety practices.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities to handle patient concerns, assist families, and work smoothly with both clinical and administrative teams.
- Working knowledge of medical and healthcare processes to interact with clinicians and support practical operational decisions; a formal medical background is not required but can be helpful.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare administration role is desirable; exposure to ICU, emergency, or specialty care settings will be an added advantage.
- Comfort with hospital information systems and standard office tools for reporting, scheduling, and record management.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding setting.
- A genuine commitment to ethical, patient-first care and to maintaining a respectful, inclusive workplace.
