Role Overview
Orkin is hiring a Home Services Technician (also referred to here as a Termite Pro). This is a hands-on field role focused on installing home protection and comfort solutions while keeping safety at the center of every task. The company emphasizes steady work, structured routes, and room to grow within a long-established business with 125 years of experience.
The position starts at $20 to $22 per hour and may include monthly bonus opportunities. The expected first-year earning potential is about $50,000+.
Two schedule options are available: a three-day schedule with 13-hour shifts and four days off each week, or a four-day schedule with 10-hour shifts and three days off each week.
What You Will Handle
- Work a planned daily route across your assigned territory.
- Install services such as attic remediation, crawl space encapsulation, gutter protection systems, and radiant heat barriers.
- Complete all required service paperwork and records.
- Represent the company professionally and build strong customer relationships.
- Carry out work in places such as rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and other confined areas.
- Drive and operate a company vehicle in a safe manner.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs when needed.
- Follow safety procedures at every stage, including equipment handling, customer interactions, and environmental conditions.
- Perform duties regardless of weather conditions.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

- Be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
- Wear personal protective equipment, which may at times include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
