Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Hampshire, England. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and interacting positively with customers while out on the road.

The role pays £13.71 per hour.

What the job involves

In this position, you will deliver shopping directly to customers and represent the Iceland brand at the doorstep. You will be responsible for making sure deliveries are handled safely, efficiently, and in excellent condition.

Working pattern

Shifts can vary, with working hours spanning from 6:00am to 11:00pm.

Key duties

• Load the van safely, including handling heavy items and following manual handling procedures.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Carry out routine checks on the delivery van.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service on every drop.
• Support the store team when assistance is needed.
• Work on your own initiative and manage time effectively.
• Remain flexible to cover changing shift patterns.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will have a strong focus on safety, be reliable and punctual, and bring a friendly, positive attitude to customer service.

Eligibility
