Role overview
This position is for a Home Delivery Driver at Iceland Foods in Wellingborough, England. The hourly pay is £13.71.
The job is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working on their own initiative, and interacting with customers. The role involves delivering groceries directly to customers and representing the company as a front-line team member.
What you’ll do
- Load the van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
- Drive responsibly and follow all safe-driving rules and road safety practices.
- Carry out vehicle checks before and during use.
- Make sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
- Deliver friendly, helpful customer service at the doorstep.
- Support the store team when extra help is needed.
- Work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
- Be flexible with shifts, which may run between 6:00am and 11:00pm.
What we’re looking for
- A full driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A positive, welcoming attitude and a genuine focus on customer experience.
- Reliability, good timekeeping, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong awareness of safe driving and road conditions.
