Role overview
As Head of Sales, you will take full ownership of the sales strategy and execution to grow revenue and achieve ambitious business targets. You will lead and scale a high-performing SDR team while also handling the complete sales journey yourself, from prospecting through to closing deals. The role reports directly to the founders and involves regular interaction with senior decision-makers at major companies. It is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-growing environment, with significant responsibility and room to grow alongside the business.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver a sales strategy that supports company objectives and revenue growth.
- Spot new business opportunities and lead initiatives that expand the pipeline.
- Recruit, guide, and motivate a strong SDR team and build a high-performance sales environment.
- Set individual and team targets, track progress closely, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Run regular training to strengthen the team’s sales capability and effectiveness.
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation all the way to closing.
- Review sales data and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities and take corrective action.
- Implement sales best practices that improve conversion and overall sales efficiency.
- Ensure the team consistently delivers against targets and KPIs.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with important clients and partners.
- Lead up-selling and cross-selling efforts while safeguarding a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Continuously refine sales processes and introduce smarter ways of working to improve results and client experience.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field is required.
- At least 6 years of experience in B2B sales, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing a sales team.
- A strong record of success in a fast-moving sales environment.
- Solid knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, and go-to-market approaches.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to think at a strategic level while also driving execution effectively.
- A practical, lead-from-the-front mindset.
- Professional-level German and English communication skills.
- Must be available to work from the Berlin office.
