Role overview
This opportunity is with a rapidly expanding, investor-supported SaaS business serving the life sciences space. The company is looking for a Head of Product to steer product direction, accelerate revenue growth, and reshape the product team into a commercially driven, product-led function. The role carries significant ownership across strategy, innovation, and scaling the product organization as the business progresses toward $100M+ ARR.
The position is based in Pennsylvania and may be performed remotely or in a hybrid setup.
What you will lead
- Shape and execute product strategy for a growing SaaS platform.
- Ensure the roadmap is tightly aligned with business goals and revenue targets.
- Use product initiatives and innovation to help increase ARR.
- Take responsibility for pricing, packaging, and monetization decisions.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to strengthen adoption, expansion, and retention.
- Manage, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers.
- Shift the organization from a delivery-heavy mindset to one focused on outcomes and product-led growth.
- Introduce strong practices for discovery, prioritization, and roadmap delivery.
- Build AI-enabled and data-driven capabilities into the product roadmap.
- Spot opportunities for automation, insight generation, and new revenue streams.
- Contribute to modernization of the platform, including cloud-based SaaS architecture.
- Partner with Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Operations teams.
- Bring stakeholders together around common growth objectives.
- Work at executive level to influence prioritization and key decisions.
- Evaluate and validate new market opportunities.
- Launch new products, features, or adjacent business lines.
- Create strong business cases and drive them through execution.
Experience and profile
- At least 10 years of experience in product management, including leadership responsibilities.
- A strong background scaling SaaS products in high-growth settings.
- Direct experience supporting growth from approximately $25M–$50M ARR to $100M+ ARR.
- Hands-on exposure to life sciences environments such as pharma, biotech, medtech, or regulated SaaS; healthcare SaaS experience is also acceptable.
- Proven ownership of pricing, packaging, or monetization strategy.
- Solid capability in product strategy, product-market fit, and customer insight.
- Experience working with AI, data platforms, or cloud-based products.
- A track record of building, scaling, and transforming product teams.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
