Role Overview
Pista Wines is looking for a senior operational leader to take charge of core business functions, improve how the organization runs day to day, and support long-term growth. This is a full-time, on-site executive-level position based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement operational plans that support the company’s direction, objectives, and expansion goals.
- Direct daily operations to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall service quality.
- Build, refine, and standardize workflows, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
- Track operating metrics and KPIs, then share insights and recommendations with executive leadership.
- Lead programs focused on process improvement, automation, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
- Work closely with department heads to keep operations aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
- Handle capacity planning, workforce allocation, budgeting, and operational forecasts.
- Spot operational risks and put safeguards in place to maintain continuity of business.
- Drive change initiatives, organizational improvements, and ongoing process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with company rules, regulatory obligations, quality standards, and internal controls.
- Coach and develop managers and operational teams while building a culture of ownership and high performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning, growth initiatives, and evaluation of new business opportunities.
- Prepare executive-level reports, operational reviews, and performance updates for leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Background in operations, business management, supply chain, logistics, or a similar leadership function.
- Solid understanding of operational planning, process improvement, and performance management.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and substantial operational responsibilities.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment.
- Effective leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and performance oversight.
- Comfort working with business systems, ERP tools, data analytics, and operational reporting platforms.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-moving, changing, and growth-focused environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic business understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- MBA or other relevant leadership credentials are considered an advantage.
