Job description
Role overview
SnapMagic is hiring a Head of Operations to serve as the CEO’s operational partner and build the company’s operating system from the ground up. The role focuses on turning a fast-moving, lean organization into a well-structured, scalable machine using AI agents and automation to improve business, people, and revenue operations.
About the company
SnapMagic is a Y Combinator-backed electronics design intelligence platform trusted by more than 2 million engineers at companies such as Apple and SpaceX. The company is supported by Bow Capital and well-known technologists including Jeff Dean and Tom Preston-Werner. It is developing an AI-powered copilot for the $1.3T global electronics industry and currently generates $3.4M in annualized revenue.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $250k-$275k plus equity.
What you'll own
- Build and manage the company’s operating cadence across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles to keep execution tight and follow-through consistent.
- Create and automate end-to-end systems for finance, revenue operations, and people operations so key internal data is accurate, visible, and ready for decision-making.
- Spot process bottlenecks and replace repetitive manual work with trigger-based workflows using tools such as HubSpot and Zapier.
What makes this opportunity notable
- You will function as a COO-level partner to the CEO, Natasha Baker, with broad ownership over day-to-day operating rhythm and strategic execution.
- You will join a highly leveraged team of three that is already producing more than $3.4M in revenue and is backed by investors and operators including Jeff Dean and Tom Preston-Werner.
- You will help shape the company into an AI-native organization by introducing autonomous agents and LLM-based workflows that remove operational friction and increase team leverage.
Candidate profile
- You have built operating infrastructure from the ground up at a seed-stage or Series A startup, ideally as a founder or early team member.
- You think in systems and bring an AI-first mindset, with hands-on experience using AI agents or LLM workflows to automate complex business processes.
- You are a dependable builder who performs well in ambiguous settings and holds a very high standard for precision, clarity, and decisive action.
About the hiring setup
This role is being recruited by an AI recruiter on behalf of a customer. The recruitment flow includes an introduction to Jack, who will learn about your strengths and goals, and Jill, who recruits from Jack’s network for matching opportunities. If there is a fit, the company will make the introduction. The process is real, and the posting explains that some client roles may be anonymized, which can limit how much detail is shown publicly.
