Role overview
The organization is looking for a senior operations leader to take charge of core business functions and guide operational performance across the company. This position calls for a strategic, hands-on professional who can strengthen processes, improve efficiency, coordinate across departments, and help deliver consistent operational excellence.
What you will do
- Create and roll out operating strategies that support the company’s vision, growth plans, and business targets.
- Direct daily business operations to improve productivity, service quality, and overall efficiency.
- Build, refine, and standardize workflows, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
- Track operational KPIs and metrics, then share actionable findings with executive leadership.
- Lead initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, cost control, and operational optimization.
- Work closely with department heads to keep operational activity aligned with business priorities and client expectations.
- Handle workforce planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and operational forecasts.
- Spot operational risks early and put mitigation plans in place to protect business continuity.
- Guide change management, transformation efforts, and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory obligations, quality standards, and operational controls.
- Coach and develop managers and operations teams while promoting accountability and high performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning, expansion efforts, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare executive summaries, operational reviews, and performance updates for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in operations management, business management, supply chain, logistics, or a similar leadership area.
- Strong grasp of operational planning, process improvement, and organizational performance management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and overseeing large operational functions.
- Solid analytical ability, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and performance tracking.
- Working knowledge of business systems, ERP tools, analytics platforms, and operational reporting software.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, dynamic, and growth-focused environments.
- Strong commercial mindset and broad business understanding.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- An MBA or comparable leadership qualification is an advantage.
