Head of Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned operations leader to take charge of the company’s core operational activity and help steer overall business performance. This senior leadership position focuses on improving how the organization runs day to day, strengthening processes, making better use of resources, and ensuring business goals are delivered across teams and business units.

What You Will Do

• Create and roll out operations plans that support the company’s vision, growth priorities, and long-term objectives.
• Oversee daily business operations across departments to improve efficiency, output, and service quality.
• Lead initiatives that refine workflows, remove inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement across the organization.
• Set, track, and report on operational KPIs and other key business measures.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, resource allocation, and cost control efforts.
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, expansion, and transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain operating policies, procedures, governance structures, and best-practice standards.
• Guide, coach, and develop department managers and operational teams so they can meet business targets.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory obligations, and quality expectations.
• Spot operational risks and put mitigation, contingency, and business continuity plans in place.
• Handle vendor partnerships, procurement activities, service delivery, and other third-party relationships.
• Promote a culture of ownership, innovation, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Prior experience in senior operations leadership, business management, or an executive-level operations position.
• Strong grasp of business operations, organizational management, and execution at scale.
• Proven ability to lead sizable teams and coordinate several business functions at once.
• Solid financial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and cost management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Sharp analytical ability, strategic judgment, and confident decision-making.
• Track record of supporting operational change, scalability, and business growth.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, high-pressure, and growth-focused environments.
• Strong capability in project planning, organization, and change management.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, Management, or a closely related field is preferred.
• An MBA or another relevant postgraduate qualification is considered a plus.
