Job description
About the company
For Youth is a Singapore-founded direct-to-consumer longevity nutrition brand created for people who keep building throughout life. Its audience is made up of professionals and founders in their 30s, 40s, and older who continue to grow careers, businesses, and families while staying active and capable for the long run. Rather than offering a broad supplement assortment, the brand focuses on nutrition systems built to support strength, clarity, and resilience for decades.
Role overview
This is a fixed-term leadership position covering the co-founder’s maternity leave. You will lead the marketing function, set direction, hold the team accountable, and partner closely with the CEO/founder on high-level decisions.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in DTC and ecommerce, deep capability in organic content strategy, community and partnership growth, and channel development. You should be able to tie marketing activity directly to sales results and confidently keep momentum moving without needing constant direction.
You will step into an already strong base: a defined brand identity, growing TikTok and Instagram channels, an active performance marketing engine, and a newly hired content producer who will need guidance and direction. The focus is to scale what is already working rather than build from zero.
Key responsibilities
- Own the revenue outcome by keeping a close eye on commercial performance, spotting opportunities for growth, and making sure content, performance, and other channels work together toward the same targets.
- Lead organic content direction by refining formats, series, platform focus, and publishing cadence, while working with the content producer to ensure weekly output grows the audience instead of merely filling a schedule.
- Manage a compact team of four and coordinate external partners through structured fortnightly sprint planning and execution.
- Work with the senior performance marketing lead on ongoing strategic alignment.
- Guide and onboard the newly hired content producer so they can contribute effectively from the start.
- Oversee the junior marketing assistant across email marketing, video content, and design-related work.
- Coordinate with operations support on creator sourcing and content writing tasks.
- Handle relationships with external specialists such as TikTok talent managers and Shopee/Lazada agencies.
- Ensure promotional campaigns are executed flawlessly during key sales periods, with attention to timing, coordination, and execution quality.
- Support ecommerce partnerships and help drive results through wider marketplace and platform channels.
- Act as the CEO/founder’s strategic sounding board for brand direction, campaign concepts, and commercial choices throughout the contract period.
Requirements
- Proven ability to grow sales, not just marketing output, with experience owning revenue-linked goals across content, performance, promotions, and channel strategy.
- Strong background in organic content strategy and social growth, including building or materially expanding a brand’s presence on social platforms.
- Solid understanding of community-led growth, brand building, partnerships, and word-of-mouth traction beyond paid media.
- Experience in DTC or ecommerce brands, with a practical grasp of acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and how brand, content, and performance work together.
- Prior experience leading or managing a marketing team, including developing and onboarding a new content producer.
- Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of ecommerce P&L drivers.
- Able to get up to speed quickly, understand the business rapidly, and contribute meaningfully without heavy hand-holding.
- Comfortable in lean environments where decisions are made quickly and there is limited process or agency support.
