Role overview
You’ll take ownership of the global content and editorial agenda for a fast-scaling wellness and consumer products business with a strong digital footprint and expansion plans across international markets. The company has earned a loyal audience through premium offerings, inventive marketing and a strong focus on customer experience.
In this senior leadership position, you will direct strategy, storytelling, production and content performance across blog, website, email, social media and video. The role is designed for a commercially focused content leader who has already improved content outcomes in a high-growth consumer environment and can scale audience reach, engagement and organic visibility while strengthening brand authority.
Key responsibilities
- Create and roll out a global content and editorial plan spanning owned and earned channels.
- Manage the editorial calendar and oversee production across blog, website, email, social and video formats.
- Improve organic traffic through SEO-led content initiatives and strong editorial standards.
- Develop compelling, evidence-based content that advances brand goals, product awareness and customer engagement.
- Lead thought-leadership and expert-led content programmes.
- Design and refine scalable workflows, systems and production processes for content delivery.
- Work closely with Creative, Performance Marketing, CRM, PR and Partnerships teams on integrated campaigns.
- Spot opportunities to extend content reach, audience growth and brand visibility across multiple channels.
- Coach, support and grow a high-performing team of content specialists and creators.
- Review content results and use insights to improve engagement, reach and commercial impact over time.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will have led content, editorial or content marketing teams within a high-growth consumer, lifestyle, wellness, retail or eCommerce business. You should have a track record of lifting content performance, growing audiences and delivering measurable gains in engagement, organic search traffic and brand reach.
Strong capability in content strategy, storytelling and editorial leadership is essential, along with experience managing and developing effective content teams. You’ll also need a solid grasp of SEO, content marketing, audience growth and performance measurement, plus the ability to build efficient content operations, workflows and production systems.
This role also calls for strong stakeholder management and the confidence to influence across several business functions. A commercial outlook is important, including a clear understanding of how content supports brand growth and overall business performance. Experience with well-known global consumer brands, especially those associated with innovation, premium experiences and strong digital marketing, will be viewed favourably.
