About the Role

Toastique is looking for a Head of Content to take full ownership of content strategy and execution across every major channel. This includes social media, website content, email, creative for paid media, in-store storytelling, and marketing materials used by franchise partners. The role is designed for someone who can shape the brand at a high level while also staying close to the craft and producing content hands-on.

The position will focus on building a strong, scalable content engine that supports brand awareness, audience engagement, and sales across both national and local markets. It calls for a mix of creative leadership, strategic thinking, and day-to-day execution.

Work Location

Once fully onboarded, this role will be based at the Union Market Office at 325 Morse St NE for 2 to 4 days each week.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Content will be responsible for creating, directing, and optimizing content across channels while keeping the brand voice and visual identity consistent.

  • Plan and manage Toastique’s overall content strategy for digital, social, in-store, and franchise communications.
  • Build and execute the national social media and content roadmap.
  • Develop seasonal, quarterly, and annual content plans that align with marketing goals and business priorities.
  • Track emerging platform trends, new content formats, and opportunities for creative experimentation.
  • Own key social performance indicators such as engagement, follower growth, reach, impressions, saves, shares, and conversion-related metrics.
  • Lead the creative direction for social-first content and ensure every asset reflects a polished, premium, and recognizable brand image.
  • Oversee content planning, scripting, storytelling, and channel-specific optimization.
  • Create trend-aware and viral-minded content concepts.
  • Independently shoot and edit short-form video every day for platforms such as Meta Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Produce high-quality photo and video assets for campaigns, product launches, brand partnerships, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Deliver edited content quickly while maintaining strong quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain a well-organized asset library containing raw and finished content for internal teams, franchisees, and media partners.
  • Lead storytelling for national limited-time offers, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and culinary teams to turn menu innovation into compelling stories.
  • Design integrated content rollouts that support both in-store performance and digital engagement.
  • Review performance data, interpret results, and turn insights into practical improvements.
  • Prepare monthly reporting along with strategic recommendations.
  • Adjust content plans based on audience behavior and platform trends.
  • Create reusable content toolkits for franchisees, including templates, reels, captions, and launch kits.
  • Make local execution simple, effective, and consistent with the brand.
  • Support franchise marketing with localized storytelling approaches.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in content, social media, or brand marketing leadership; experience in food, beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading content strategy for multi-location brands.
  • A strong portfolio showing storytelling across short-form video, social media, and digital campaigns.
  • Evidence of personally shooting and editing short-form video and photography.
  • Solid understanding of social analytics and how to improve performance.
  • Strong creative judgment and visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent copywriting ability and experience shaping brand voice.
  • Experience managing teams and working across functions.
  • Working knowledge of paid social.
  • Experience building scalable social systems in distributed business models.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to connect content outcomes to business results.
  • Comfort using DaVinci, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Canva.
