Role overview
A fast-scaling consumer technology startup is hiring a senior creative leader to define and drive its content direction. The business is building a digital-to-physical social network designed to help people stay connected, recall meaningful milestones, and turn important moments into lasting keepsakes. The team is made up of builders, creators, and operators who believe thoughtful physical expressions of care still matter in an increasingly automated world.
In this position, you will partner closely with company leadership to shape the brand’s creative identity, build cultural relevance, and produce content that can reach a very large audience. You will own the visual and storytelling output that people see across channels.
What you will do
You will serve as the primary creative force behind all consumer-facing content, including social-first videos, photography, campaigns, creator partnerships, and experiential activations. The role calls for someone who can think strategically and execute hands-on.
- Set and run the creative direction across all customer-facing touchpoints.
- Produce content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and newer social platforms.
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish short-form videos from start to finish.
- Lead art direction, photography, video production, editing, and visual design work.
- Create scalable content templates and recurring formats that build brand familiarity.
- Write creative briefs for external creators and guide their output.
- Keep all published work at a consistently premium creative standard.
Candidate profile
The ideal hire brings several years of experience making high-performing content for consumer-facing brands or startups, along with deep fluency in short-form social ecosystems. A strong portfolio that shows storytelling ability and audience engagement is important, as is practical experience in photography, video, editing, and design. The company is also looking for someone with an entrepreneurial approach who is comfortable working without a lot of structure.

Location: New York, NY; onsite/hybrid noted as New York City Metropolitan Area / New York, NY (Hybrid).
Compensation: $100,000 to $150,000 per year, plus meaningful founding equity and benefits.
