About the Role

This is a customer-facing, fast-moving position within the administration team, where you will be the initial contact for visitors and guests by phone, email, and in person. The job centres on handling enquiries and reservations carefully, accurately, and efficiently while creating a positive guest experience.

The role is based on-site in Queenstown and is not a remote opportunity. It operates across three locations, including office and customer service areas, and requires someone who can stay dependable and adaptable in a year-round business environment.

Working hours can fall between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with weekends and public holidays included. Full weekend availability is required. Most shifts are expected to run from late morning through to the evening, although an occasional early start may be needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The business is looking for someone who is fluent in Mandarin and English, brings a guest-first mindset, and communicates confidently over the phone as well as in writing and face to face. Strong organisation, time management, and the ability to stay calm while managing several tasks at once are important.

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred so you can settle in quickly. Familiarity with the Restaurant Diary reservation platform and the Roller system would be an advantage, although training will be provided. Good computer literacy, careful attention to detail, and the ability to ensure booking information is accurate and shared promptly are also key.
