Role Overview
Oaks Brisbane Wooloongabba Suites is seeking a full-time Guest Service Agent who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, you will be one of the first points of contact for guests, helping create a welcoming atmosphere from arrival through departure.
Your day-to-day work will include handling arrivals and departures smoothly, assisting guests with local recommendations, and ensuring each stay feels comfortable and well supported. Strong service, professionalism, and a positive attitude are central to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests on arrival and manage the check-in process efficiently while responding to immediate questions or requests.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with guests, teammates, and other stakeholders through face-to-face interaction, phone, and email.
- Accurately manage reservations, amendments, and special requests using the property management system to keep bookings and availability in order.
- Serve as a main contact for guests during their stay, offering quick support, resolving concerns, and sharing tailored suggestions to improve their experience.
Compensation
Hourly pay is provided excluding superannuation. The stated rates are: Monday to Friday $25.80 per hour, Saturday $32.25 per hour, and Sunday $38.70 per hour.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience providing strong service in a hotel, hospitality, or other customer-facing setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally across different channels.
- A consistent commitment to high service standards, with a proactive and positive approach to guest needs.
- Ability to create positive guest experiences and maintain high satisfaction through attentive service and effective problem-solving.
- Well-groomed, polished, and professional presentation aligned with organisational standards.
- Availability to work a changing roster, including weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts as required.

Work Environment
