Job description

About Alan

Health should not have to wait for symptoms to intensify, for appointments to be delayed, or for the system to catch up. Alan’s mission is to help end that waiting by making prevention a core part of healthcare. The company believes health is a universal right and that real progress comes from combining insurance, prevention, and care into one seamless experience.

Alan is building a new standard in prevention insurance, with a product that brings insurance, prevention, and care together in a single user experience. The company partners with more than 40,000 organizations, supports over 1 million members, and has reached €800M+ in ARR. With a team of 800+ people, Alan is expanding across France, Spain, Belgium, Canada, and beyond.

Role overview

Alan is growing its presence in Canada and is looking for a Growth Marketer to build and operate inbound systems that convert market activity into qualified leads. You will work closely with the Head of Growth in Canada and play a hands-on role in shaping demand generation in a market that is still developing. The position calls for someone comfortable with less structure, practical decision-making, and continuous improvement as the business learns.

What you will do

Your work will center on three main areas: content creation and distribution, inbound generation, and turning events into repeatable growth channels.

In content, you will develop and share material that turns buyer pain points, sales input, events, and market themes into qualified interest. That includes maintaining a consistent publishing rhythm across digital and social channels, testing new formats and channels, writing posts, short stories, emails, and lightweight page copy, repurposing inputs from events, announcements, partnerships, and internal projects, and adapting global content for a Canadian audience.

For inbound generation, you will help run the daily mechanics of lead capture and nurturing. This includes building and updating landing pages or campaign pages, managing warm retargeting and basic paid activity, setting up and maintaining UTMs, tagging, and tracking, reviewing performance, recommending changes, and connecting content, paid, email, and follow-up into simple inbound loops. You will also help Sales understand where qualified interest is originating from.

For events, you will support formats that can be repeated and extended beyond the physical room. This means helping with logistics, timelines, registration pages, and event materials; creating follow-up emails and digital touchpoints; transforming event themes into content; supporting Sales follow-up with relevant contacts; and turning event activity into retargeting audiences, campaign inputs, and reusable assets.

What success looks like

Success in this role means Alan Canada publishes valuable content consistently, learns what resonates with buyers, and uses those insights to generate stronger interest over time. Campaigns should do more than go live and be tracked; they should create qualified conversations, demo requests, MQLs, and pipeline signals. Events should be smoothly supported operationally and translated into digital, content, and inbound inputs that can keep generating value after the event ends.

Requirements and profile

Alan is looking for someone with 4 to 8 years of experience in growth, digital, demand generation, or content marketing, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment. Experience running inbound or growth campaigns that produced leads, demo requests, or sales conversations is important. Strong writing ability is essential, along with the ability to turn messy inputs into clear, useful content. You should understand how content, distribution, paid, email, and follow-up work together, and be comfortable setting up your own tracking and reporting.

The role also calls for comfort with basic data-driven decision-making, juggling multiple workstreams, and staying organized without daily supervision. Alan values people who are independent, practical, curious, and comfortable building in an early-stage market. The company emphasizes operating ability, learning speed, and improvement mindset over a strict years-of-experience checklist.

Perks and benefits

This role includes a competitive salary plus equity, with compensation structured as base pay and equity. Benefits include a monthly TTC pass, a generous employer matching program for RRSP contributions, and healthcare insurance through Alan’s Canada app. The workplace is in-office, with a strong collaborative setup at a downtown Toronto location near King & Yonge, and the team is expected onsite 4 to 5 days per week.

Alan also offers a flexible leave policy with no pre-approval required, and a coaching culture where every Alaner is matched with a dedicated coach from day one to support impact, engagement, and growth. The company notes that it cares about people more than rigid role checklists and encourages applications from candidates who may not meet every requirement, including underrepresented candidates.

Additional information

Important compensation note: this role’s pay model combines base salary and equity, and the level referenced is B1-C0. The company encourages candidates to apply even if they do not match every requirement. Alan also highlights that women often apply only when they meet every listed requirement and encourages applicants to use the posting as a guide rather than a strict checklist.
