Job description
About the company
MOVE [REPEAT] is a portfolio of specialist boutique fitness lifestyle brands focused on delivering exceptional experiences across selected modalities. The business is committed to premium quality, long-term sustainable expansion, and strong brand standards, with the ambition of becoming best-in-class across APAC. It combines studio design, service delivery, technology, and class programming into one integrated growth model.
The company invites a builder-minded leader to help shape the next stage of expansion across Singapore, Asia, and Australia.
Role overview
The Group Head of Growth is a strategically important hire for the 2026-2027 period. This is not a delivery-only position; it is a role focused on designing the architecture for growth. The selected leader will create the expansion strategy for all three brands, establish the commercial frameworks needed for regional scale, and identify, assess, and secure the right partners and opportunities to turn MOVE [REPEAT] into a true APAC movement platform headquartered in Singapore.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with each brand General Manager, this person will lead expansion across three separate growth mandates:
- REVL: drive regional growth by developing strategic partnerships and in-market opportunities through the right commercial structure.
- Yoga Movement: determine the best growth path, whether franchising or territory development, and secure the right market opportunities.
- Pilates: identify a suitably sized Pilates brand or business for acquisition and scale it across Asia and Australia.
Across these streams, the role requires a strong focus on market feasibility and unit economics, including demand, competition, regulation, studio build costs, return profile, and breakeven timing. The expectation is clear: this hire must both shape the strategy and deliver the outcomes. A growth team may be built beneath this role as the opportunity pipeline grows.
Key responsibilities
The responsibilities below combine the role's three growth pillars and the broader group growth mandate.
- Create the group’s multi-brand expansion roadmap across Asia and Australia in alignment with the CEO and the 2026-2027 Vision & Strategy.
- Design tailored growth frameworks for each brand so that each model reflects the brand’s commercial structure, identity, and target customer profile.
- Partner with each General Manager to evaluate market potential at both the macro level and the unit economics level.
- Prepare market studies, growth plans, partner profiles, and investment cases for review with the CEO, CFO, and board.
- Build, recruit, and lead a high-performing growth team as deal flow increases across markets.
- Protect the integrity of each brand during expansion and preserve the premium positioning that defines the group.
- Lead the search for strategic commercial partners that can support REVL’s expansion across Asia.
- Assess priority markets for REVL by reviewing readiness, competition, demand, and regulatory factors.
- Identify and evaluate suitable partners in each market and decide on the most appropriate commercial structure, such as franchising, area development, territory licensing, or another partnership model.
- Manage the full REVL partner pipeline from first conversation through qualification, pitch, negotiation, and agreement execution.
- Act as the main commercial owner for REVL’s Asia growth partnerships and ensure alignment between brand standards, operating requirements, and partner capability.
- Advise on the best regional scaling model for Yoga Movement by comparing franchising, territory development, and hybrid structures.
- Once the model is approved, build the commercial and operational framework, including partner criteria, territory terms, operating standards, and disclosure requirements.
- Proactively source and screen opportunities in target markets by engaging franchisees, developers, master operators, and territory partners.
- Validate each opportunity with the Yoga Movement General Manager before progressing to heads of agreement.
- Advance selected opportunities to signed agreements in coordination with the CEO and legal advisors.
- Define the Pilates growth strategy and recommend the best scaling model, including the search for a right-sized acquisition target.
- Shortlist candidate brands and businesses that fit the required positioning, operating model, geography, and scalability profile.
- Build relationships with owners, operators, and intermediaries in the Pilates space and position MOVE [REPEAT] as a credible brand-led partner and acquirer.
- Work with the CEO and CFO on indicative acquisition or partnership terms and prepare options for board review, including growth forecasts and rollout plans for Asia and Australia.
- Support due diligence, transition planning, and regional rollout execution once a target or partner has been selected.
Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate brings hands-on growth, partnership, and expansion experience in premium consumer-facing businesses, ideally in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or a similar lifestyle category. This person should have closed commercial growth deals, not only advised on them, and should be comfortable operating across Asia Pacific markets with strong regional connections.
Strong commercial judgement is essential, including the ability to build financial models, present recommendations to senior leadership, and negotiate with board-level sophistication. The role suits someone who can balance strategy with pace and action, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
Deep knowledge of franchising and licensing structures is important, and experience with M&A or acquisitions would be a strong advantage. The person must be effective in managing stakeholders across cultures, time zones, and seniority levels, from board members to in-market operators. A genuine interest in fitness lifestyle brands and commitment to premium standards is important.
Additional information
This role is based in Singapore and is a full-time onsite position. It is intended for a self-directed growth leader who is ready to define the roadmap, secure the opportunities, and help build the team needed for future expansion.
No salary, stipend, start date, application deadline, duration, or vacancy count was specified in the source material.
Who this role is for
This opportunity is best suited to someone who thrives in building commercial growth from the ground up, can work directly with founders and senior leadership, and is motivated by creating meaningful regional expansion rather than acting as an external adviser.
Eligibility
Candidates with relevant experience in franchise development, territory licensing, strategic partnerships, market expansion, or acquisition-led growth may apply. Experience across APAC is highly desirable.
