About the Role
Our client, a prominent entity in the food services and hospitality sector, is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to join their team. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, requiring four days a week onsite with the flexibility of remote work on Fridays. The role involves providing essential graphic design services to support the creation of marketing materials, catalogs, direct mail campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce a variety of marketing collateral, including catalogs, flyers, engaging PowerPoint presentations, realistic product mockups, and diverse sales support materials.
- Prepare and optimize images and graphics for digital platforms such as e-commerce websites and social media channels, including performing necessary image retouching.
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide expert recommendations on graphic design direction, aligning with project briefs and strategic objectives.
- Innovate and generate creative design and branding solutions throughout the entire creative lifecycle.
- Foster close collaboration with the internal design team, brand managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Offer creative design support to various corporate departments as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of graphic design software, tools, and emerging best practices.
- Stay informed about current industry trends and share valuable insights with the marketing team.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a closely related field, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
- Accumulate a minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong emphasis on multi-page layout design, sophisticated typography, and effective color theory application, preferably within a corporate marketing or advertising agency setting.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in creating marketing collateral, catalogs, flyers, product mockups, and sales tools.
- Exhibit mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Experience working within a Mac operating system environment is considered an advantage.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
- Present a robust portfolio that showcases exceptional creativity and artistic talent.
- Prior experience in developing graphics for email marketing and social media campaigns is beneficial.
Additional Information
This role requires a 4-day onsite presence with 1 day remote per week.
