Role overview
Spendless Shoes is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Brand team in Adelaide. This position offers the chance to contribute to creative work for well-known Australian footwear labels such as Wildfire, Vybe, Everflex, and Olympus.
The role is centred on developing and rolling out visual assets for digital, retail, and brand touchpoints. You will help shape campaign materials, social content, in-store collateral, and promotional designs so they stay aligned with brand standards and deliver a polished finish.
What the role involves
This opportunity suits someone who enjoys design work, handles multiple tasks comfortably, and can move quickly across a mix of creative briefs. You will work closely with the brand team on campaign delivery while also providing support on wider marketing and brand activities. The environment is collaborative and energetic, with an emphasis on creativity and practical impact.
Responsibilities
- Create and produce EDMs for all brands in the portfolio.
- Prepare and update internal communication pieces, including The Rundown.
- Resize and tailor campaign and sale artwork for paid media placements.
- Develop graphics for events and content overlays.
- Design website creative such as homepage banners, tiles, and mega menus.
- Build internal documents including team directories, policies, presentations, and certificates.
- Create simple in-store signage and shopping-centre hoardings.
- Support wholesale lookbooks and other brand collateral.
- Handle light retouching and editing of eCommerce imagery when required.
- Coordinate with printers and outside suppliers.
- Help prepare for shoots and events.
- Pack influencer and PR parcels.
- Assist with campaign reporting.
- Monitor the marketing inbox and reply to incoming queries.
- Keep the marketing calendar current.
- Carry out general administrative tasks such as saving assets, organising files, uploading promotional sales information to centre portals, and maintaining marketing contact databases.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
- Strong organisational ability and good time management.
- Comfort working on several tasks at once while meeting deadlines.
- Careful attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Willingness to support the team wherever needed.
- A qualification in Graphic Design is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential.
