Job description
About the role
Join a creative group within a growing organization that supports clients through analytics, digital services, graphic design, photography, and videography. The team develops work across a wide range of industries, producing everything from direct mail pieces and magazines to catalogs and video content designed to drive action. The workplace also emphasizes team connection through quarterly events, staff outings, and regular celebrations of achievements.
What the role involves
This position is best suited for someone highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, and capable of handling several projects at once with minimal supervision. You should enjoy figuring out how to best arrange and emphasize content so the final design clearly communicates the client’s message and delivers results.
- Handle assigned design assignments across both short-term and longer projects.
- Review work with senior designers and art directors to incorporate feedback.
- Move projects through internal review and client approval steps as needed.
- Work with teammates on idea development and quality checks.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has either a bachelor’s degree in design or two years of relevant experience. Success in deadline-driven settings, strong time management, familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, and a commitment to keeping up with modern design practices are important. Strong communication skills are also needed for effective teamwork. A portfolio is required with the application, submitted as a link or PDF along with the resume.
Preferred background
Applicants with any of the following will stand out: experience with pre-press or pre-flight workflows, direct mail production, retail design or marketing, or project/data management.
Equal opportunity
The employer maintains an equal opportunity workplace and reviews applicants without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status. Qualified candidates are also considered in line with applicable laws, even if they have a criminal history.
