Job description
Role overview
This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the food and beverage sector. The selected professional will handle government-facing HR and compliance work, making sure the organization stays aligned with Saudi regulatory requirements while supporting both local and international workforce administration.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee government relations tasks using key Saudi platforms, including Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, GOSI, and Balady.
- Prepare, submit, and renew work permits and Iqamas for employees.
- Handle recruitment visa applications and assist with hiring talent from overseas.
- Work with recruitment agencies and official authorities during international hiring processes.
- Track Saudization and Nitaqat status to ensure the company meets local compliance obligations.
- Manage employee transfers, sponsorship changes, and related labor service requests.
- Take care of municipal license renewals and other business licensing requirements.
- Follow up on government notices, violations, and fines, and support their resolution.
- Keep employee and compliance records accurate and up to date in line with Saudi Labor Law.
- Partner with internal teams so government-related tasks are completed on time.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
- Previous experience in government relations or HR operations is required.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Labor Law is essential.
- Practical experience with Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, GOSI, Balady, and MHRSD systems is needed.
- Clear communication and strong organizational abilities are important.
- The ability to juggle several priorities while meeting deadlines is expected.
