Job description
The Role
You will take full ownership of Demand Gen activity across Google and YouTube for a group of ecommerce clients. This is a specialist position rather than a broad performance marketing role. Success here means understanding what catches attention on YouTube, diagnosing why a Demand Gen campaign is overspending, and correcting course quickly before clients raise concerns. You will partner directly with senior strategists, gain exposure to multiple industries, and operate in a fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up, manage, and improve Demand Gen campaigns in Google Ads.
- Develop creative directions and briefs that work well across YouTube, Discovery, and Gmail inventory.
- Segment audiences and run structured tests across creative variations.
- Review performance metrics and turn them into clear, client-ready recommendations.
- Work with the strategy team on account setup, structure, and scaling choices.
- Keep up with platform updates, new betas, and current best practices.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience managing Google Ads accounts, especially in Demand Gen or YouTube.
- Practical ecommerce experience, rather than only lead-generation work.
- Ability to interpret data independently and form informed judgments.
- A strong creative sense, including an understanding of what drives clicks and attention on YouTube.
- Good written communication skills; experience speaking with clients is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Center, feed handling, and shopping campaigns is a plus.
