Its campaigns cover medical treatment, animal welfare, old age homes, support for blind children, disaster relief, and other humanitarian needs. The organization focuses on creating meaningful digital campaigns that bring real donors to genuine causes and generate measurable impact.
Role Overview
The organization is seeking a performance-oriented Google Ads Specialist who can plan, manage, refine, and expand fundraising campaigns through Google Ads while keeping performance, compliance, and return on investment at the center of execution.
What You Will Do
- Build, launch, oversee, and continuously improve Google Ads campaigns for donation and fundraising initiatives.
- Run campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and remarketing formats.
- Perform keyword research, audience research, competitor review, and campaign planning.
- Create ad copy, headlines, descriptions, and call-to-action messaging that improves clicks and conversions.
- Track day-to-day performance metrics such as spend, leads, donations, ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and donor quality.
- Improve donation volume, lower cost per donation, and raise return on ad spend through ongoing optimization.
- Allocate and manage large ad budgets carefully across campaigns.
- Set up and review conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and landing page events.
- Coordinate with creative, content, video, and website teams to strengthen campaign results.
- Spot policy violations, account warnings, and ad disapprovals, and work with Google Support when needed.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports with actionable insights and next-step recommendations.
- Experiment with new campaign structures, creative variations, landing pages, audience segments, bidding methods, and funnel improvements.
- Make sure all campaigns comply with Google Ads rules, donation platform requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Work with internal teams to launch campaigns for festivals, urgent medical needs, animal rescue efforts, and social impact drives.
Requirements
- Practical, hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Solid understanding of Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, and remarketing advertising.
- Experience with lead generation, donation campaigns, e-commerce, or other performance-led campaigns.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and pixel implementation.
- Comfort with analyzing data and making decisions based on performance trends.
- Strong ability to write ad copy and structure campaigns effectively.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, landing page improvements, and funnel optimization.
- Ability to handle high budgets with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Good reporting and communication abilities.
- Basic familiarity with Meta Ads will be considered an advantage.
- Prior exposure to NGO, crowdfunding, donation, healthcare, animal welfare, or social impact campaigns is preferred.
- Experience handling campaigns with monthly budgets above ₹10 lakh is preferred.
- Knowledge of Google Ad Grants will be an added advantage.
- Google Ads certification in Search, Display, Video, or Measurement is preferred.
- The right candidate should be analytical, creative, performance-driven, and motivated by social impact.
- The role demands comfort in a fast-moving environment where campaigns may need to be launched quickly for emergencies such as medical crises, animal rescues, disaster relief, old age homes, and support for blind children.
