Global Head of Strategy

Role overview

Alpha Academy is hiring a full-time, remote Global Head of Strategy to shape and lead the company’s long-range strategic agenda. This position focuses on setting direction for international growth, refining how products are positioned in the market, and driving initiatives that support sustainable expansion.

What you will do

In this role, you will guide strategic planning across the business, examine market and competitor trends, and work closely with senior leadership to turn high-level priorities into practical execution plans. You will review financial performance, identify growth opportunities, oversee strategic consulting work, and make sure all business units are aligned with the organization’s overall vision. You will also support and coach cross-functional teams, define clear targets, and track delivery against goals.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability, with confidence in interpreting data, studying markets, and solving complex problems.
• Hands-on experience in strategic and business planning, including building and executing long-term plans.
• Working knowledge of finance, such as budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating the financial effect of strategic decisions.
• Exposure to consulting or advisory work, with experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership in a senior strategy or business management position, ideally within edtech or a digital business.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing capabilities across global teams.
• Comfort working remotely in a fast-moving environment while balancing multiple priorities.
• An advanced qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, or a similar discipline; an MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
