General Utility Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking self-driven individuals who take pride in their work to join Aramark as General Utility Workers. In this role, you will be crucial in keeping dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas clean and sanitized. This position serves as an entry point to a rewarding career in service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils.
• Keep the dishwashing station, including the three-compartment sink and surrounding areas, clean and organized.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and operational; promptly report any malfunctions to management.
• Perform minor maintenance and custodial duties as necessary.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a consistently positive attitude towards guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark's safety policies, especially those related to food safety and sanitation.
• Secure company property and maintain the safety of assets.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Basic understanding of sanitation procedures is required.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols when handling hazardous chemicals.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• The role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) use may be required.
