Job summary
As a general merchandise team associate, you will welcome customers on the sales floor, help them find products, and suggest items that match their needs and preferences. A key part of the role is keeping the Hobbies and Home Improvement areas neat, organized, and properly stocked throughout the day. Depending on the needs of the store, you may also be asked to mix paint and cut fabric.
Pay and compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $14 to $27. The final hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage required for the work location. In addition to base pay, this role may include annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premium pay may also apply in certain situations and can range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or the specific work being performed. More than one premium may be paid if the qualifying conditions are met.
Work schedule and location
This is a full-time position with mid-shift and closing shift options. The job is based at Walmart Supercenter #405, 2204 S 5TH ST, Leesville, LA 71446, US.
