About the Role
This opportunity is for a commercially focused General Manager to oversee the Nissan brand’s overall performance, growth, and profitability. The position reports to the Sales & Marketing Director and is responsible for shaping and implementing the brand strategy, improving sales results across multiple sites, reinforcing market share, and ensuring an excellent customer journey.
The role involves leading a sizeable sales organisation while working with both internal departments and external partners to achieve ambitious business goals and support durable business expansion. It is best suited to an experienced automotive sales leader with a solid background in dealership management, team leadership, business planning, and commercial performance delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of Nissan’s overall business performance, profitability, and growth across several UAE locations.
- Create and put into action short-term and long-term plans that support company objectives.
- Deliver on targets related to sales, market share, revenue, and profit.
- Coach and manage Retail Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Fleet teams, and support staff to create a strong sales force.
- Track performance using forecasting, reporting, and KPI monitoring tools.
- Spot market opportunities and launch initiatives that improve competitive strength and business expansion.
- Ensure strong showroom standards, customer experience, and operational efficiency across all sites.
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Logistics, HR, and operations teams to execute business plans effectively.
- Develop and preserve strong relationships with OEM partners, major customers, and external stakeholders.
- Promote ongoing improvement, people development, succession planning, and leadership growth within the sales team.
- Handle escalated customer issues and support the team in closing strategic opportunities and important deals.
- Share regular performance updates and strategic advice with senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in an Automotive General Manager role.
- A strong history of growing sales and meeting challenging commercial goals.
- Deep experience in dealership operations and automotive retail.
- Sound commercial and financial understanding.
- Proven capability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation.
