Role Overview

The Trade Desk is hiring a Receptionist / Front Desk Associate to join its Workplace Services team in Singapore. This highly visible role serves as a cultural ambassador for the office and helps deliver a safe, productive, positive, and best-in-class workplace experience. The position is one of the first touchpoints for employees, guests, and visitors, and requires excellent hospitality and customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Be the main front-of-house contact at the reception desk, welcoming employees, guests, visitors, and vendors.
  • Help manage daily access cards for employees and guests, coordinating with Workplace Services and building security when needed.
  • Support office-wide communications about updates, food and beverage programs, and other activities or events.
  • Coordinate office operations such as lunch programs, mail handling, desk moves, meeting room bookings, client meetings, large team meetings, and special events.
  • Escalate maintenance concerns such as temperature issues, broken chairs, non-working desks, and plumbing problems, and guide employees on how to raise support requests.
  • Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Help maintain the local workplace intranet with useful information for employees and visitors, including building details, security notes, and travel guidance.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors in coordination with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Workplace teams.
  • Assist with office morale activities and events.
  • Help Talent Acquisition with candidate greetings and coordination.
  • Handle additional duties, tasks, and special projects as required.
  • Work closely with Workplace Services colleagues around the world to share and apply best practices.

What We're Looking For

Ideal candidates bring experience from a fast-paced office or professional setting, along with a genuine commitment to excellent customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a creative mindset that can suggest improvements.

The role calls for positivity, attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to stay proactive. You should be comfortable checking in early and often, escalating issues promptly, and keeping service levels high. The position may also require working outside standard hours when needed, including after-hours response for emergencies.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
