Fresh Graduate Engineer (Saudi National)

Overview

This role involves overseeing all aspects of civil and electrical installation at power substations, including equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and overhead transmission lines. The position requires strict adherence to quality, safety, and technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite execution of civil and electrical works related to substation components and overhead transmission line (OHTL) activities including tower erection and stringing.
• Ensure all site operations comply with approved procedures, international standards like IEEE and IEC, and rigorous health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Monitor and document daily site progress, supervise subcontractors, report any delays or issues to the Project Manager, and maintain accurate site logs.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning phases including pre-commissioning activities, testing of transformers, cables, and protection systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review construction drawings, resolve onsite discrepancies, and oversee delivery inspections of materials.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Possesses up to two years of relevant experience, including fresh graduates.
• Understands grid substation equipment and safety standards thoroughly.
• Demonstrates effective communication and leadership skills essential for site coordination.
