Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Dammam is suited to a freight forwarding professional who can handle day-to-day logistics activities, coordinate import and export movements, and keep operations compliant with applicable regulations. The role also requires regular client interaction, accurate handling of shipping records, and the ability to improve freight solutions for better efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee routine freight forwarding activities and support smooth logistics execution.
- Manage import and export workflows from start to finish.
- Coordinate freight movement and transportation arrangements with relevant parties.
- Ensure shipping activities follow customs rules and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and organize shipment-related documentation with accuracy.
- Communicate with clients and provide responsive, professional service.
- Work on improving forwarding processes to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of freight forwarding and freight transportation operations.
- Hands-on experience with export processes and documentation.
- Ability to build practical forwarding plans and logistics solutions.
- Strong customer service skills and confidence in managing client relationships.
- Good understanding of customs compliance and shipment paperwork.
- Strong organizational ability and problem-solving capability.
- Familiarity with logistics software or digital tools is an added advantage.
- Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
