Role overview

An established technology business is seeking an experienced freelance recruiter to act as an extension of its People team. This assignment blends hands-on hiring support with wider HR generalist responsibilities, giving the right person scope to contribute across recruitment and the employee journey.

The opportunity is well suited to someone who has previously worked as an internal recruiter, HR generalist, talent partner, or people operations specialist and is comfortable switching between different people-related tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Run recruitment activity from initial search through to offer stage across several business areas.
  • Identify and engage suitable candidates through proactive sourcing.
  • Carry out screening conversations and help keep the interview process moving.
  • Support onboarding for new starters.
  • Provide HR administration support and assist with tasks across the employee lifecycle.
  • Work in close partnership with the internal People function.
  • Step in on day-to-day people operations support when needed.

What the client is looking for

  • Background as an internal recruiter, HR generalist, talent partner, or people operations professional.
  • Solid capability in recruitment delivery and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience helping with onboarding and broader employee lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, changing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, along with good organisation skills.
  • Previous exposure to technology, SaaS, or startup settings would be a plus.

Additional information
